Mission of CKM

C.K. McClatchy High School is an exciting, multicultural school committed to seeing students grow and mature in their knowledge, wisdom, discipline and social skills while becoming independent productive citizens.

School Development and Improvement Plan

The School Development and Improvement Plan (SDIP) is created and monitored by the School Site Council (SSC). It shows what the school is focusing on to facilitate student achievement, and the funding that has been authorized against those efforts. It is updated annually. If you have any questions or input please come to an SSC meeting (fourth Monday at 5:30 p.m.), or contact the SSC chairperson, Katherine Tobias.

CKM publishes an annual School Accountability Report Card (SARC) featuring information about the school, its teachers and staff, and student performance. To learn more about CKM’s academic performance, visit the California Department of Education’s DataQuest website to view the school’s profile which features information on school performance, test scores, student demographics, school staffing, student conduct and interventions, and other data.

School boundaries and attendance area

CKM’s attendance area is roughly bounded by the American River (north), the Sacramento River (west), Highway 99 (east), and 47th Avenue (south). See SCUSD’s high school boundary map to view CKM’s attendance area.

School accreditation

CKM is accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC) which ensures validity of its courses and student transcripts required for entry to colleges and universities. View CKM’s most recent WASC report.
