Target’s Take Charge of Education
The
Take Charge of Education program rebates a percentage of your purchases to CKM whenever you use your Target Guest or Visa Card. Proceeds go directly to the school to be used by CKM’s leadership team to fund school-wide projects and programs.
Nugget Markets
Nugget Markets also use electronic swipe cards to benefit schools. Obtain your card from a CKM PTSA representative. Proceeds benefit the CKM Parent Student Teacher Association.
Other scrip programs from area grocers
Other grocers may also use electronic swipe cards to benefit schools. Check with your favorite grocery store to find out if and how it supports CKM.
PTSA Membership Drive
The PTSA runs a membership campaign where CKM families, staff, teachers, and students join to support school-wide projects and programs.
Information is sent home via students and through the PTSA’s e-mail list.
HISP Direct Donation
CKM’s
Humanities and International Studies Program
solicits donations from families to support both HISP and school-wide projects
and programs. See
Direct Donation information and form.
California State Employees Charitable Campaign (United Way)
(CKM Donation Code 94-6192232)
This program allows state workers to have funds deducted monthly from paychecks to benefit local schools and charities. Funds from this program benefit CKM’s PTSA and the programs it supports. Check with the state agency where you are employed to learn more.
Many employers match funds workers donate to schools or will donate funds to a school based on the number of hours you volunteer. Several also have foundations that support their workers’ favorite charities. Inquire with your employer.
Land Park Home Tour
The
Land Park Home Tour uses proceeds from its annual event to support the
visual and performing arts at CKM and other schools in Land Park. Support the
tour and help CKM’s art programs thrive. CKM families living in Land Park may
volunteer their home for the tour. Parents and students may sign up to be a
docent in one of the featured houses. Look for flyers and lawn signs posted
throughout the neighborhood and in area businesses for more details and
contact
information.
Unique fundraisers throughout the year
Fundraisers such as car washes, e-waste collections, the 24-hour
track-a-thon, and more occur throughout the year to support specific CKM clubs, sports programs, and activities. Check the
Events Calendar for upcoming activities.
